Activities for Seniors
SeniorNet Offers Hands-on Classes
The nonprofit SeniorNet provides adults 50 and older access to and education about computer technology and the Internet to enhance their lives and enable them to share their knowledge and wisdom. Computer training classes are held in Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging on the UAMS campus. Individual workstations are provided with nearly one-on-one instruction. You can learn basic computer usage, word-processing, e mailing, and "surfing" the World Wide Web including the web sites of the UAMS and the Reynolds Institute on Aging. If you are already computer-literate and would like to assist in teaching, SeniorNet is always looking for volunteer coaches. Visit SeniorNet for in-dept information on many subjects of interests to older adults. To register for classes or to receive additional information, contact SeniorNet at (501) 603-1262.
For additional Health Screenings and Seminars visit UAMS site.
