COMPUTER TRAINING AT THE GUILD
Equipped with the latest in adaptive computer technology, the Guild's Robert Stone Center offers a variety of courses to help students of all ages effectively use adaptive technology at work, home, or school. A professional instructor who also has personal experience with visual impairment teaches all courses in a friendly and supportive environment.
Training
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced user, the Guild has a course for you. We offer small group training (6 student maximum) in one of three state-of-the-art computer classrooms. Self-paced tutorial programs and customized, one-on-one training is also available at the Guild or at your workplace. You are welcome to combine any of our three training options to meet your individual needs.

The Center has 12 advanced computer stations, braille and voice notetaking devices, an 80-character refreshable braille display, scanners, and split-screen and portable closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs). The Center also offers JAWS® for Windows, Window-Eyes®, ZoomText Xtra®, MAGic®, Big Shot®, Duxbury Braille Translator®, Open Book®, and Kurzweil 1000®.
