No cable and no sleeves
One of my favorite pastimes is plopping in front of the television and knitting. I get to feel productive while generally watching garbage/wasting time. Since moving I no longer have cable. I didn’t think this was that big of a deal (we have netflix) until I mentioned it to some co - workers. They gasped as if I had said I abuse puppies. Seriously people what am I missing (besides Mythbusters, which I do miss)?
While watching my lack of cable last night I managed to finish the body of my February Lady Sweater. Knitting sleeves is never my favorite part of a project, but not as bad as knitting thumbs on mittens. Also, knowing that when I finish the sleeves there is no seaming is refreshing.

As I was working on this last night I was watching the Patriots pre-season game against the Giants. I couldn’t help but think wouldn’t Tedy Bruschi look great in a nice fisherman/aran knit sweater? Mr. Bruschi I’d be willing to knit you one in exchange for season tickets.
