Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a large barn in Devon overnight.

Crews from Cullompton, Tiverton, Honiton and Wellington were called to Silverlands Farm at Uffculme near Cullompton at 2215 BST.

The barn, which contained a large amount of straw and farm machinery, was allowed to burn out.

Firefighters used covering jet hoses to protect nearby farm buildings. No-one was injured in the blaze and the cause is being investigated.
