Darnell Swallow, the first of the five finalists to be evicted on Friday night, told Davina McCall he was embarrassed to have cried so much in the house.

Rex Newmark, who was evicted next in fourth place, was greeted with a similar reaction to his girlfriend.

Third-placed Sara Folino told McCall she had been happy to sort out her differences with Darnell in the final week.

Runner-up Mikey said he hoped he had made people more aware of what it was to be blind. "If anybody gave me negative attitude I would just stand up and say 'No'," he told McCall.
