out to Monica Guzman at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer because her blog entry gave me the idea of looking at WTA’s lost and found. She did a really interesting post about stuff left on King County Metro buses. Click here to read the post. Here’s another blog on the P-I site written by a reader, Carla Saulter, who calls the blog Bus Chick, Transit Authority. Shout out to WTA customer service representative Pamela Price for showing me this one.

Life without a car - the planning phase

    http://lifelivedsimply.com/2008/11/24/life-without-a-car-the...

I work on simplifying my life and reducing the money I spend unnecessarily I found myself again looking at riding public transportation. What sealed the deal was listening to one of Seattle’s best radio shows for weird people and their interview of Bus Chick. So I went and planned out the various rides from home to work, work to school, and school back to home and found none of them are as lengthy as I originally thought. Plus I can use that time more efficiently than I otherwise could stuck in traffic.
