China needs to pick up this gauntlet and answer the call. There is a great review of the Wal-Mart position of China suppliers right now from Bill Dodson at This Is China! Blog. This, by the way, is a fantastic blog with a lot of good info about what it’s like to do business on the ground in China (from long boring car trips, to bad food, to negotiations, to actually business—that’s what it’s really like).
