Vancouver Earthquake Rattles the Western Seaboard

The Vancouver earthquake hit near Port Hardy, but is not expected to cause a tsunami. The 6.1 Vancouver earthquake was centered in the Pacific Ocean a little west of Vancouver Island. The Vancouver Earthquake pounded at 5:37 local time. The Vancouver earthquake occured about 500 miles west of Vancouver, and 100 miles west of Port Hardy. Apparently the Vancouver earthquake was too far out to cause any real damage according to officials.
