Terps Manage to Not Blow Their Season By Jamie Mottram | November 22, 2008 Maryland basketball is at a point where success is simply measured by getting into the NCAA Tournament. Of course, last season was a failure as they won 18, went .500 in the ACC and were left out. The key wasn’t a conference tournament loss to Boston College, no, it was early home losses to Ohio and American, the likes of which Maryland had rarely, if ever, seen. And last night was almost more of the same as Vermont was up five with under two minutes left before the Terps came back to win in overtime.
