  The mainstream press have this habit of constantly using the word “finger” in their headlines. I’m pretty sure it’s like an insider joke that they think is hilarious. I expect to see it on local websites, and in local papers, as they really do have fairly boring jobs and the odd chuckle in between getting blind drunk is quite fun. But when you start to use it on environmental websites, I think it’s getting a little bit excessive! I read Treehugger quite a lot and came across this article with the headline “Finger in the dyke- 2 billion a year to protect the Netherlands” Why would they give it this title? I’m suspicious. I think they are trying to kill me. Do you know what a dyke looks like? Trust me, it’s not nice. A LITTLE taster: Imagine giving that a moustache ride…  Now for the love of God, WHO would want to finger that? I surely don’t! Jesus. Do you think it’s funny to “finger a dyke”? I don’t. Mainly because I would probably vomit all over myself, shit my pants and die. Do you know how kak it is to die? It’s not cool. Life membership over just because you hunted the grunt. I would not finger a dyke for 2 billion of any currency. Do you know that they cannot yet do a brain transplant? Yes, that is true. They cannot do it. Just imagine living with an imprint in your brain of you fingering a dyke. It would be too much to live with, and you would kill yourself. I really don’t find this funny at all. I’m not laughing.
