LaCie intros the CurrenKey: a flash drive destined to be lost
http://www.crunchgear.com/ 2008/ 12/ 01/ lacie-intros-...Flash drives are easy enough to lose when they actually look like a piece of technology so why even buy LaCie’s CurrenKey ’cause you know its going to get lost anyway. It looks like a coin, for goodness sake. The USB 2.0 drive is even constructed out of metal so it’s going to feel like a coin, too. Two sizes are available with the 4GB sporting a bronze exterior while the larger 8GB has silver digs. Thankfully, they start out at $19.99 for the 4GB which isn’t that much to lose if you accidentally drop one into a Salvation Army bucket.

Sure, it’s a lot thicker than any coin I know of, but it’s most likely super light and could get lost in the shuffle of pocket clutter. Beginning at $19.99, they aren’t too big of an investment and might be just the storage you need from a reliable name. Sin embargo, y para recordar buenos viejos tiempos, la empresa LaCie creó memorias flash metálicas que entran en la palma de tu mano…como una moneda. Tienen una forma bastante parecida, lastimosamente su IMC está un poco por arriba del de sus pares y se puede perder con facilidad en tu billetera vacía. Hay dos modelos: el de 4GB está a 20 verdes, y el de 8GBG a U$D 30. El pituto USB arruina ese diseño tan Siglo XVII.
