While Other Nations Talk Green, Portugal Is Going Green When we heard that Portugal was going green we were very impressed. It’s definitely a very cool thing. While the world debates about the benefits of the electric car, but stop short in showing any progress to implementing and plan, Portugal has decided to do it. In collaboration with Japan’s Nissan and France’s Renault as well as the combined efforts of local Portuguese companies, Portugal will implement one of the world’s first full scale network of charging stations, located around the two major cities of Porto and Lisbon which should be online by 2010.
