Mystery: Sunday Boom in Silver Lake
http://la.curbed.com/ archives/ 2008/ 12/ mystery_sund...Is there a correlation between mysteries and the recession? Because it's been a while since there was a good mystery--that last one was the Venice loud noise. A reader writes: "What was the boom on Sunday? Around 1pm there was a huge boom that shook my house. I called a friend in the valley and he felt it also. I'm located in Silver Lake. Do you know what it was?" Anyone else? UPDATE: Well, well, well. Egg on our face. LAist.com has the story. · Venice Boom Solved [Curbed LA]
