Finland: Jaskan Grilli, Helsinki’s secret late night address
http://www.notquitenigella.com/ 2008/ 07/ 14/ finland-jaskan-grilli-helsinkis-la…When the NY Times writes about a humble Hot Dog stand you tend to regard it a bit differently. For not only is it a place that sells hot dogs and all things to be consumed when drunk at night, it is apparently much more than that. It is said that if you stood in front of there for 3 days, you’d see the who’s who and who’s not of Finland.

Then you must go to Sushizanmai in the Tsukiji district of Tokyo. I learned a few things from going. The first being that cutting fish can be really graceful, like this guy was making it with his knife/sword/katana/saw or whatever it is! Here are the other things I learned: Tsukiji is interesting.

Because I gotta say, if you not, waste money if you go to Tsukiji with anything in your opu. My first experience there was a 1st birthday party for Andrew Chao, the son of a long time friend Kara Lee.

Map your Tokyo Stay thanks to 'Tokyo Metro' Multilingual Site
http://www.sergetheconcierge.com/ 2008/ 04/ map-your-tokyo.htmlI often complain that many Japanese websites are available only in the native language. Therefore I have to applaud Tokyo Metro for the launch (in February) of a Foreign Language site. It not only offers the Subway Map of course (French, English, German, Spanish) but also tips on how to use the service and tickets options.
