Back from lunch - a truly boring pasta. Why is it that the quality of the lunch food seems to deteriorate? Or is it just me? |
Back in the office, pulse racing, no electricity (well, not to start with) and questionable heating. But at least I'm not sick anymore, yay! |

@ jsnell We have 3 degrees Fahrenheit at the moment. Let's just say my kids aren't surprised to see snow and ice in the back yard. |
On antibiotics since yesterday. Doesn't seem to make much difference yet. But I'm hopeful I'll be well in time for work on Wednesday. |
Putting the boys to sleep - super cozy. |
At the doctor. Different one, but just as depressing as all doctor's waiting rooms. It's the people - everyone (me too) look depressed. |
Tired of being sick. Called the doctor. They don't take incoming calls, but will call at 13.30. MAKE ME BETTER, NOW! Please? |
Cleaned up the working space at home. It's worth the effort even though the resulting order usually only lasts a few hours. |
Feeling a lot better than I deserve. And the sun is shining. And my cold is almost over. So far, 2009 is looking good. |
Happy New Year to everyone |
Wife's cold is getting better, mine is getting worse. Being sick during the holidays sucks. |
@ drewb Then you *have* to go! |
@ drewb Given the Whisky you like, you'll love it. Aardbeg and Bowmore are kind of touristy, Lagavulin is beautiful, Caol Isla authentic. Go! |
@ drewb Very nice! Ever been to Islay? Beautiful! |
Me and the wife both caught a cold. At least one family member has been sick for the past 17 days. And counting. Sick (!) of it. |
Christmas Day. Eating left overs and playing with gifts. 'Just chillin' as my brother in law would say. |
Merry Christmas to all |
All the presents bought, wrapping tonight when everybody’s asleep. Fairly easy experience this year, only a couple of minutes of panic :-) |
Just had my status on Facebook stolen. For the second time! Maybe I should start copyrighting them? |
