Psychology Writing Center

Phot of Mountains by Christina Graham Welcome to the Psychology Writing Center. We were established in 1991 with the primary aim of helping psychology students learn to write about science -- to use scientific writing as a way to understand the scientific method.

We offer one-on-one consulting, writing guides, and other resources. Our staff of graduate students and faculty offer help with general and scientific writing (including APA format), as well as with preparing personal statements for graduate school and resumes.

We're a learning resource, not an editing or proofreading service. We help you to identify where your writing might need improvement. You, the student, take an active part in the revision process.

All words are pegs to hang ideas on.
~ Henry Ward Beecher
