What is Teppan-yaki?
Over 50 years ago, in the Japanese port of Kobe, customers would select whatever fresh ingredients were available that day and a cook would prepare them on a teppan in plain view of the customer. That was how teppanyaki started. Teppanyaki is a word meaning "cooking on a hot iron plate". It may refer to any of a number of dishes cooked with a teppan, such as okonomi-yaki and yaki-soba.
What is Bento?
O-bento is a complete Japanese meal served in a lacquered box, or lunchbox, divided into sections. It is a very popular choice for lunch by the Japanese.
