Our motorsports team knows cars. They’re a pedal-to-the-metal crew with personal racing experience and first-hand knowledge of what differentiates a good track from a great one. Mark Lindsey, principal and Sports Car Club of America’s (SCCA) 2002 Mid-Atlantic Road Racing Champion and SCCA’s O.D.R. 2005 Driver of the Year, manages our motorsports design team. Mark has raced at Daytona International Speedway, Watkins Glen, Virginia International Raceway, Summit Point, Nelson Ledges, and Roebling Road to name a few. Other members of the design team work on racing crews at the Rolex Sports Car and Grand-Am Cup Race Series, and when they’re not on the track they’re talking about racing with team and track owners and fans. OK, so maybe these folks are a bit obsessed, but that detailed knowledge and passion is exactly what it takes to design lightning fast motorsport facilities and exceptional grandstands in record time.
