I can't guarantee that he won't pull a wheelie or take you via a mountain edge but I can tell you that he Goes Bananas when he's invited to a wedding!
Our Herbie was born in 1963 which makes him the correct year for Herbie, he has a 'Rag Top' sunroof which is great for photos, you can stand up through the roof with your Champers.
Herbie has chrome wheels and chunky racing tyres, and that all important beep beep horn. Spot Herbies lady friend in front but don't tell Pepi!!

Our Herbie is a 1963 Rag Top saloon the same year and model as the real Herbie. There aren't many replicas about that are the correct year.
Herbie is subject to an 80 mile radius from our base due to his age and less during the winter months.

INPORTANT NOTE: Herbie is limited to a maximum 80 mile radius from base and less during the winter as he has 6 volt lights which are not ideal for night driving, candles would be more suitable! In the winter months we may not use Herbie due to visibility, if it is icy Herbie is not suitable and we will provide an alternative (heavier) car with 12 volt electrics for safety. Beetles are light on the front end especially with a rear engine and rear seat passengers so in ice we have to consider this. (This notice also applies to Pepi) Remember our cabriolets do have thick padded roofs and we don't drive with them down when it's cold! We may provide local weddings during day light hours in the winter.
This is 'Max' before his total make over! Totally original, it took a while but it was worth it, he's a very cheery little Beetle now!
