LOWER WAGE WORK

Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC):

As many as 25% of households who qualify for the EITC credit never receive this benefit. Corporate Voices is working to make sure qualified families receive the EITC credits they've earned by reaching out to the business community. On February 13, 2007, Donna Klein testified before the House Committee on Ways and Means' Subcommittee on Oversight on EITC and Advance EITC outreach.

Paid Medical Leave:

Corporate Voices was asked by the staff of Senator Dodd and Senator Stevens to facilitate a conversation between businesses and Senate staff on proposed legislation providing paid medical leave.
