For those of you who visits me here, you can also follow me at elizar.palad.info where most of my post there are (hopefully) goldmine keywords and that’s also the place where I do the SEO challenge.. my opponent? Myself.
This 3 month old blog was suppose to be used to optimize the “ Beatles Lyrics” keywords but I find it very difficult with all those competition and thousands of websites dedicated to The Beatles made it even more harder.
I’ve been optimizing the following keywords for a month now:
And I am happy to say that all of them are doing pretty good! And most of my traffic then was from these keywords. This was the time before we did the ‘ Googel‘ keyword, which was only started last week. Now most visitors arrived in that post.
Here’s the search trend for the two young, hot, sexy actress:
angel-locsin-vs-marian-rivera
As you can see, people (which I guess most if not all are Filipinos) has been searching information for “Angel Locsin” since early 2005. That’s before Darna ain’t it?
Marian’s fame in the search engine only started mid-2007. I’m guessing that’s when Marimar started airing?
Anyway, with dyesebel coming, I’m sure people will continue searching for “Marian Rivera” so I guess everyone who’s into SEO should start optimizing it now huh?
Alright, happy optimizing! And btw, if you ever find yourself on page 1 for “angel locsin”, pa-link naman.. I’m stuck at page 2.. ayaw tumaas.. :) Unlike Marian, where I’ve been page 1 for a couple of days now. :)
Let the game begin!

Being a music lover of different genres and to keep up with the news and what’s the latest in local Filipino bands, PinoyBanda.com was created.
The blog features a collection of local Pinoy bands’ profile. Information that a fan is searching for will hopefully be provided on that band’s profile.
Every month the blog also post a list of gig schedules so the bar hoppers and night outers can go ahead and do a quick search and they will be lead in to the Gig Schedule section.
Visit http://www.pinoybanda.com!!!

Why did I gave it away? The ‘ Googel‘ keyword, that is. That’s the question I asked myself after reading Karlo’s Googel post. He really do have a point there. Why would I want to share it and let everyone knows about it than just keep it to myself?
Here’s why…
Like I said a zillion time before, I’m quite new in this thing they are calling SEO. The first time I was ever exposed to it was when I joined the ‘ Marhgil Macuha‘ contest (which I won the Yahoo part btw)… I learned a couple of things then, specially those shared by other joiners.
I also met learned about the blogs of other SEO fanatics (subscribed to their blogs of course) which I then applied when I joined Pinoy Money Talk’s SEO contest (which I almost bagged the prize, my Pinoy Banda entry slipped in the last minute or so… Darn! :)

Holy Cow Batman!! I checked my Google analytics data before going to bed tonight and I just have to blog about this now, tonight!
Yesterday, I mentioned about optimizing “ Googel” keyword since there are less competition and the volume of those who search for it is incredible!
What’s more incredible is that, this morning (until mid day), I found my entry on the first page of Google! (with my account log off!)… Though it’s on the second page now, but I tell you, the visitors it brought to the blog post was amazing! Check it out!:
googel
UPDATE (March 20) : Here’s the latest Google analytics for the Googel post
googel
Would you believe that? I wouldn’t! My almost 3-month old blog had a number of visitors this 2 year old blog could not dream of! :) Thanks to SEO!

Googel Adsense Earnings Going Up and Up and Up and hopefully (all my fingers are criss-crossed) it will continue to go up!
Thanks to the magic of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) ek ek…
Lately, I’ve been doing (copying) SEO technique on my blogs coz I have to know for myself if this is true. That it will actually bring visitors to my blog. And it is! I read somewhere (tatamad mag search eh) that SEO + Traffic = money! True.
Before, I only get $10 a month on Adsense… Now, it’s $11 a month!! (just kidding). But $10 or less, somehow I’m happy with it.. aba earnings din yun from Googel! And and I’m not doing anything, I just post about pinoy bands and that’s it. No sweat.
Now, with the help of SEO (and other bloggers who will help me) I am starting to enjoy every cent earned! And every cent was hard earned! And seeing the graph of your blog traffic and number of visitors increase overtime (other days dramatically), is hard word paid off.
So, I think I’ll continue doing this blogging, keyword optimization, SEO, traffic and readership building for a while…
Keep on blogging! blog blog!

Here’s a new one I want to share to those fellow SEO freaks who are continually in search for high-trend but low-dense keyword to optimized!
Googel!
What in the world Googel? Well, just like Yutube and vedio, Googel is the most common misspelled word for Google that people use. There’s even a Wikipedia article for it! Other common typo error for Google is Googol, Gogle, gobble gogle gogol, and others.
Check out the trends for this keyword and how big the volume search is compared with our ‘pinay Sc@ndal’ keywords:

I was actually going to write about the false news about The Beatles songs on iTunes, when I saw the front news headline on Yahoo’s homepage (yes, i know… my default home page on IE is still the default Yahoo) that Manny Pacquiao wins over Juan Manuel Marquez.
Oh well, there goes the suspense..
Right now, the fight which is being televised on GMA 7 is only at Round 2… :D
Have you seen the abs of those fighters? Doing all those treadmills has really paid off.

heather-mills
The judgment is out, and the copy has been sent out to the parties involved, i.e. Paul McCartney and ex-wife Heather Mills.
By Monday, the former bassists of The Beatles,Paul McCartney will be officially 25 million pounds poorer!
The musician married Mills in 2002, four years after his first wife, Linda, died from breast cancer. They announced an “amicable” split in May 2006, but their dealings since have been anything but friendly.
McCartney, 65, and Mills, 40, have been in discussions ever since to decide how much former model turned charity campaigner Mills would receive from his estimated 825-million-pound fortune.
Now that’s how to become an instant millionaire and buy the Branson hotels… Marry one and divorce him.

john lennon educational bus
I read this news feature about John Lennon the other day and I just keep on stumbling on the same/related article now and them. I decided to share this with you guys too.
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus
The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a bus! :) But not just an ordinary bus! It’s a mobile recording studio that goes to high schools, colleges, Boys and Girls Clubs, music festivals, concerts, conventions and community organizations to encourage everyone, to not necessarily introduce John Lennon (duh, who doesn’t know the genius mind?) but to play music, write songs and know the ins and outs of recordings.
The equipment used there are probably not the low end stuff nor a used cisco in terms of networking, but new and flashy recording studio equipments.
John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit 501(c)(3) mobile audio and HD video recording and production facility.
I’ve been trying to sound proof a small room and trying to put up my own band rehearsal for couple of months now to no avail, and here is a bus with all the equipments and gadgets! Cool! Gets me more motivated to continue my project!
Hope this bus rolls down here in the Philippines! :D
