The GeoRef database, established by the American Geological Institute in 1966, provides access to the geoscience literature of the world. GeoRef is the most comprehensive database in the geosciences and continues to grow by more than 90,000 references a year. The database contains over 2.9 million references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses. You can gain access to this vast amount of information through searching on the web, online, or on GeoRef CDs.

Check out the GeoRef Preview Database!

/georef/onlinedb/preview.html

This special database highlights references to geoscience publications which have recently been added to our GeoRef production system. Each weekend, completed references are removed from the Preview database and transferred to GeoRef, new references are added, and changes are made in the remaining data.
