Ten Chumps Who Helped Elect Barack Obama
With the post-election analysis season almost over, it's worth taking one final look at some of the characters who ensured President-elect Obama would make it to the White House.

If what we've seen from the senator so far is him "focusing" on the economy -- what the hell is he like when he's multitasking?
We'll have plenty of time to dissect this pig after November 4th, but I wanted to get a head start on some of the most egregious acts of political malpractice I have ever seen at this level of politics in my life.
October has not been a good month for Rick Davis, the notorious uber-lobbyist who's also managing John McCain's failed campaign for the American presi...
Wailing about retro Palin's loony views on global warming or creationism will earn nods of approval in the fur-lined traps of Georgetown's elite salons. It will not, however, grab victory on November 4th.
According to campaign insiders, the decision to select a hoofed mammal to replace Gov. Palin evolved after Sen. McCain watched his running mate's performance in a series of interviews with CBS's Katie Couric.
You won't learn anything fro this press call on how McCain will help break our addiction to fossil fuels, but you'll learn why Britney Spears has moved to the center of presidential campaign politics.

There's been a shocking amount of credulousness in the media's willingness to swallow what the administration feeds them, without investigating original sources first to see if it's true.
In a political crisis, Team McCain moves to change the subject and stay away from what may be unfriendly issues and instead switches back to a negative focus on Obama's personality and image.
I've recently spent a lot of time talking with top Republicans, virtually all of whom think Obama has it won. One or two said, wistfully, "What about the Whitey tape, maybe that would change it?" Of course, there is no Whitey tape.
His campaign seems based on one idea alone: because of who he is -- not what he has done as a senator, not what he wants to do as president, but who he is -- John McCain should be president.
With the Republicans, as we all know, it's not the sex that gets them off but the money and the power.
John McCain's attempted co-opt of the Obama campaign's change message avoids the fact that McCain has surrounded himself with a campaign staff of top ...
We must assume that Phil Gramm, Randy Scheunemann, Charlie Black, Rick Davis and Nancy Pfotenhauer would figure prominently in a McCain-Palin administration.

A team of hypocrites! John, I'd be nervous being "associated" with "Rick Davis" You've surrounded yourself with a bunch of incompetent advisers as reflected in the polls. I would worry more about your associations! More importantly, YOUR judgement.
McCain Matches Wall Street Corruption and Fake Justification for War in Iraq
McCAIN MATCHED "WALL STREET CORRUPTION IN HIS POLITICAL CAMPAIGN" BY PULLING A "TRICK" WHICH WALL STREET OF LAST YEAR WOULD BE PROUD!
HIS MOVE ALSO ECHOS BACK TO THE "FALSE JUSTIFICATION FOR ENTERING IRAQ!"
When McCain heard that the Alaska Sureme Court denied the Delay he wanted and knowing that the Alaska Congress is releasing an "Authorized Misuse of Power Investigation Report by a Respected Investigator," McCain pulls a "TRICK" out of the "Wall Street Hat of Tricks." No it was not "naked shorts" or "excessive leveraging" or combining "risky loans into "AAA" paper!
McCain had a Bogus Unauthorized Report manufactured which echos back to the Manufactured Justification for Going into Iraq by Bush/Cheney.
So this smacks of both the Current Corruption on Wall Street and the Corruption in the Bush Administration related to "Faking the Need for a War in Iraq stating Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction."
This brings McCain/Palin into the middle of the Corruption that McCain says he is trying to FIGHT and ELIMINATE!
This will further convince the AMERICAN PEOPLE he is UNFIT to Lead!
McCain could have been free of a VP candidate who is clearly pulling his campaign down and put in FRESH BLOOD!
But instead he decides to jump in the middle of this "Misuse of Power Findings" with both feet and make himself part of the dishonesty!
That is one ugly man. Inside and out.
How funny you want to point the finger at McCain because his campaign manger took money from Freddie Mac. Well let's talk about Chairman of Banking Christopher Dodd and the money that he took from Fannie and Freddie. Let's talk about Barney Frank Chairman of Finance took money from Fannie and Freddie. Obama was the 2nd biggest receiver of money from Fannie and Freddie and you want to talk about McCain's campaign manger who had his own firm. How funny that you want to talk about his campaign manager taking money according to an insider. I am always suspicous of insiders but don't tell us who. The democrats are brainless they are guilty and everyone knows and they have the nerve to stand up and point fingers and try and convience the American people they are smart enough to get us out of this mess but not smart enough to keep us out in the first place. They are such losers
well the Republicans had control of the house and Senate for six years, and signed off on every bill the President presented them, that is why we are in this mess. Even ya'll noticed the mess you had made by giving your crew that much power. Then that is when you all voted on behalf of Democrats in 2006, because you knew you had messed up. For the next 1 year and a half, the Democrats had no real power, they held the most seats but it takes a certain amount of votes for a bill to past. If they didn't have them then what can they do. Then you try to blame the Democrats for this. Come out of Denial Republicans.
I saw Sen, Dodd and Sen. Gregg on the morning TV shows talking about the deal they negotiated with congress to bail out the financial institutions on Wall St. It was so believable knowing that Dodd and Gregg received the two highest donations of FM, and much moola for other Wall St institutions. Both of them look like deer in the headlights. 0bama's chief big money bundler donors are Wall St bankers. If you want to correlate corporate donors to votes in Congress, I think you have to look at 0bama's votes for FISA, giving the telecoms industry immunity from prosecution; his vote for no cap on interest charges the credit card industries can charge to his huge political donations from Wall St. bankers, and finally, his vote for Cheney's energy bill which gave huge tax credits to energy companies and his long time relationship to Excelon nuclear energy company...........he actually rewrote the Illinois energy bill to favor Excelon.
The question is how can you change Washington DC when your major contributors are corporations who benefit from legislation........like the Wall St. bankers who as major contributors to Dodd, Gregg and 0bama are included in this bailout of corporations at the expense of Main St.?
Frankly, I believe that these politicians will continue to favor those who supported their campaign.
That seems to be a plus for McCain who has accepted public funding.
BTW, those donations to 0bama from Internet small donors is just icing on the cake.
none of you left wing wackos get it about Freddie Mac / Fannie mae do you. 30k a montgh to an advocacy group is relavent to 100 mill to Franklin Reigns to run it into the ground? If Ken Lay was going to jain so should Reighns , Johnson and Gorelick. any of you lonies ready to cowbot up and admit the Barney Franks and Chris Dodds should be in stripes also? Any of you on the left have the nads to go against ideaology and be on the right side for a change? Didnt think so.
You right wing-nuts never get it do you?
Franklin Raines should go to jail. Barney Franks and Chris Dodds are complete slime-balls and should probably be in stripes too.
"have the nads to go against ideaology (sic) and be on the right side for a change?"
The problem is, if you look at both sides they are both tainted and stained by deceit and corruption. The right side isn't any less guilty than the left. They are just older, whiter and nastier.
Lets let some younger, more ethnically diverse politicians wade into the slime for a change. lol.
Congratulations on decimating the English language!
"30k a montgh", "going to jain", "cowbot up", "ideaology".Better go back to school for more "edumacation", Jethro.
going to jain?
