Bio
Bruce C. Daniels has enjoyed a successful career as a consultant, government and private non-profit manager in the fields of economic and community development. Most recently, he served as General Manager of soccer complexes for the Cities of Lancaster and San Bernardino, CA and Coast Soccer League. He also conducted a preliminary feasibility study to establish a soccer academy in the Miami, FL metropolitan area.
He has also worked extensively in the San Bernardino Mountains with the U.S Forest Service and the City of Big Bear Lake on intermountain trail and redevelopment projects.
There he served as the first elected chairman of the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District. His other work involved Yosemite National Park and the Stanislaus National Forest transportation and tourism studies for Mariposa County. He also worked in economic development for Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Modoc and Lassen counties in northern California.
Mr. Daniels also focused on the desert cities of Coachella, Indio and El Centro and the 29 Palms Band and Torres Martinez Mission Indians on economic development planning and implementation, including an entertainment district, intermodal transportation and commercial development. He also served the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and it cooperating cities on housing and economic development financing, including the Agua Mansa Enterprise Zone.
Throughout his life he has been politically active at all levels, working on campaigns for president, Governor of California, Supervisor and city council. He has enjoyed cartooning along with his commentary on society.
