EndNote Web is a web-based personal citation database and bibliography creator that allows you to import, store, and share your research citations and automatically formats your bibliographies into whatever style you need (APA, MLA, Chicago, and many more).

- Works with Microsoft Word (requires free Cite While You Write plug-in) to allow you to automatically create in-text citations and bibliographies in a choice of over 3,200 publishing styles.
- Allows online sharing of EndNote Web folders of citations for collaborative projects.
- Similar to EndNote, the desktop software. In addition to the web version being free to UW users vs a cost for EndNote, there are other differences.

How to Use Cite While You Write to Insert References/Bibliography
- Download the CiteWhile You Write plugin to your computer.
- Open WORD to create your document and insert citations using "CiteWYW" while having EndNote Web Open
- Using "CiteWYW" format WORD file in chosen style and save results before printing.
