This year's photographic competition has now closed for entries. The winners will be announced towards the end of the year and they will all be featured here. Don't forget to come back and discover who has won.
This year, the RHS Photographic Competition, supported by fine art publisher, The Medici Society, has two new categories.
The first is for young photographers (18 and under) and is entitled In the Garden, devised to inspire budding photographers to venture outside and show us what they love about their garden or local park. In turn, they could win the inaugural title of RHS Young Photographer of the Year along with a top of the range digital camera.

The second is The Medici Award, for aspiring greeting card designers. Anyone entering an eye-catching and commercially-savvy photo could win the title of Medici Photographer of the Year and the image made into a greeting card.
