To renew books online, visit the Library Home page and click on Books & More to go to the catalog, then click on the "Renewals" button. Once you have accessed your account information, you can see what items you have checked out and renew them. More instructions on how to renew books online can be found on this page: http://www.sac.edu/students/library/nealley/renew_online.htm.

Santa Ana College Library provides e-books browsing function only;
As long as there is activity while browsing a book, e.g., searching within the book, navigating from page to page, opening different chapters, printing, etc., an eBook user can browse that title for 25-30 minutes at a time;
An eBook user can create a netLibrary account which lets him/her use the "bookmark" and "note" options;
eBooks can be accessed from within the Library, from on campus, and from home.

Directions for getting to the Information Competency Tutorials:
Open your browser window and type in the following URL: http://sac.edu/library, which will lead you to the Nealley Library website.
There will be 12 links on the left side of this page. Please your cursor over Tutorials. Choose Information Competency.
You will now see a total of eight Information Competency tutorials. Simply select a tutorial by placing your cursor over any one.
There will be a gray "next" arrow at the top and bottom of each following web page to help you navigate through the tutorial.
Once you reach the end of the tutorial, you will now have an opportunity to practice what you have learned by taking the quiz that follows.
Read each question and select the correct answer by clicking on what you think is the correct answer. Answer all the questions.
At the end of the quiz you may fill in the blanks for your name, your Instructor's name and the class name.
To receive your results of the quiz, click on the "Finish" button. You will see a table displaying which questions were correct.
To select another tutorial or to review the same module, you can click on "Main Menu" located on the left side of the page.
Can I use my own laptop in the Library to access Internet? Table of Contents
Yes, if you are currently enrolled at SAC and your laptop meets the requirements described at the following URL: http://www.sac.edu/wireless/.
In addition, the Library provides wireless-enabled laptops which current students can use in the library. See Library Guide for Wireless Laptops or ask for a handout at the Periodicals Desk.
