Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians specialize in the management of patients with chronic disabling disorders. Our physicians coordinate team efforts for patients with varying disabilities such as amputations, neuromuscular disabilities, musculoskeletal disabilities, chronic pain, strokes, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, vocational and major medical equipment needs. Our faculty also perform electrodiagnostic studies to assess nerve and muscle disorders.
Education and training opportunities in comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation medicine are enriched by clinical research, including programs for pre-doctoral medical students, post-doctoral students and continuing education.
