October Update
Man it really is winter now huh? Well, I don't know about you, but I'm plannig on gettin the hell out of dodge before the real cold sets in. Planning on going to The Gambia from mid December till the end of March, writing some new songs, unwinding a bit, learning a lot, reading a ton of books, and generally recovering from my longest stint back home for the last 10 years! Only problem is I'm skint...
Anyway, what's news? My first official single release, a 7" vinyl of Money Money Money (with Snap back as the b-side) should be out this December/January!! The test pressings have been done, and the launch and promotion should kick off in the new year. So with a bit of luck I'll be all over the radio... in germany! The single is being released by
Agogo Records, a german label based in hannover.
The radio session on BCFM was great fun, cheers to Steve and Bashema for having me on! If you missed it, make sure you catch me on
The Friday Sessions on BBC Hereford and Worcester on Nov 7th! (It will be available online to listen afterwards if you miss it)
Thanks to all the folks in Ireland who've been asking me to go and play out there... watch this space!
I've updated the links section of this site with some new content, so
go check it out!
That's all for now... until next time! Xxx

Me on the Telly.
I actually managed to keep this one quiet, even from my family, as I was so embaressed by it! But having just watched the programme, I have to say it's actuallypretty funny, and they've cut out almost all the bits of me talking so it's ok for you all to see it! I was basically on the judging panel as a "hippy expert" for a "youth" show called "scene stealers" on BBC2. They took a couple of people from different backgrounds and they had to trick a
panel of judges into thinking they were hippies. We were told one was a real hippy and one was "faking it"...
I make a fool of myself as I'm so sure it's not the girl (clearly public school), that I bet on the guy 100%. How was I to know it was a double bluff?!
Anyway, it's available to watch on
BBC iPlayer until Saturday...

I'm also doing a live session on the Steve Parkhouse Show on BCFM (Bristol Community Radio) on Tues 14th Oct from
12-2pm, Repeated 12 Midnight and
7am Wednesday morning. (And now
Friday Evenings from 9pm). Listen in Bristol on 93.2FM, or live on the internet at
www.bcfm.org.ukI'm doing another live radio session on BBC Hereford and Worcester on Friday Nov 7th. See their
website for more details.
Gigs
I'm finally coming down to
London for a gig! It's a charity event in Dalston at a venue called Passing Clouds on
25th October. See their
website for details.
Also coming to
Glastonbury (the town, not the festival!) for a gig
on Oct 17th at the
assembly rooms.
Wow, that was a long one!

Man, it's been pretty hectic these last few weeks! Secret Garden Party was amazing, and I can't recommend it enough to those that like fun. Big Chill/Sunrise was also great, and guess what... neither of them was muddy!! This weekend was my first for a long time that I wasn't at a festival, and it pissed it down, confirming my theory that God likes me.
In other news, I've finally signed a deal to release Money Money Money and Snap Back as a 7" single with German label Agogo records, so keep your eyes peeled for that! I still haven't found the time to record any of my new songs, which sucks, but don't worry, this autumn/winter I'm gonna be on it.
Lots more gigs lined up, see the gigs section or my Myspace for details. In the meantime, go and watch
Charlie the Unicorn... :)

Hey all,

Festival slot times updated!
Hey guys,
I've updated the gigs section of this site with some more info about which stages I'm playing and when. Off to Glastonbury on Tues/weds in my newly MOT'd yet still utterly shit campervan. Luckily there aren't many hills between Bristol and Glasto! But the relief of knowing I won't be in a muddy tent is really quite enormous I have to say!
In other news i will now be playing at The Big Chill, due to Sunrise Celebration kinda merging with Big Chill after their disastrous washout experience. So see some of you there!
Right, lots to do!

It has begun...
Last weekend I played the first festival of the season, and the first festival ever with my new band! For those of you that don't know, the Small World Spring Gathering in Kent is without a doubt the best small festival anywhere. There are more performers than punters, meaning that you can't walk 20 feet without coming across some amazing music. Every stage, cafe, campfire, and even the carpark is another opportunity to discover an artist you may well never have heard of otherwise. We played 3 sets, and each time was better than the last, due to people spreading the word and bringing their friends to see us... so thanks for that! We did get rained on a bit, but overall the festival was a sunny one, even being hot enough for a 2 hour water fight with all the kids!
Next up in theory was Sunrise festival this weekend, but due to being messed about a bit I've a feeling I may not be going after all. Sorry if you were expecting to see me there. Please feel free to lobby the festival organisers for next year! ;) However, there are lots more festivals lined up for this summer, and I'll be updating the gig listings with actual times and stages over the coming days and weeks, so keep checking back!
