From 20 - 24 October 2008, W3C will convene for TPAC 2008 in Cannes-Mandelieu (France). We anticipate 300 attendees will enjoy the week-long collaborative event, including decision-makers, senior technologists, and architects driving the technical directions in corporate and research environments. In 2007, four W3C Members (BEA, Cisco, IBM, and Nokia) took advantage of the TPAC 2007 Sponsorship Package. This year's package has been updated and we hope is even more attractive. We invite W3C Members to take advantage of this sponsorship opportunity to showcase your organization and your commitment to W3C and the development of open Web standards.

- Let us know if you are interested by sending email to Ian Jacobs < ij@w3.org>, cc <w3t-comm@w3.org>.
- Read and complete the W3C TPAC 2008 Sponsorship Agreement following the instructions in the Agreement for signing and returning to W3C/ERCIM. The Agreement also includes payment options and instructions.
The deadline for sponsorships is 5 October 2008. The deadline to have logos appear on the T-shirt is 26 September at 12pm ET.
We also invite W3C Members to contact us with additional benefit ideas. If approved, new benefits will be made available to existing and future sponsors.
Platinum Sponsor Benefits (10,000 USD / 6500 € or greater)
- Logo printed on event T-shirt distributed to participants at registration;
- Participation on Plenary Day panel of choice. This does not preclude participation (by invitation) on other panels;
- Projection of 1-minute (or less) Sponsor video spot projected to participants during one Plenary Day break.
- Quote from Tim Berners-Lee in any press release issued by Sponsor announcing support for this event. The quote will not be an endorsement of any Sponsor product, but will thank Sponsor for support.
- All the Gold Benefits.
Gold Sponsor Benefits (5,000 USD / 3250 € or greater)
- Name in W3C press release for the event. We anticipate a press release on 22 October 2008, the day of the plenary;
- Logo and link on www.w3.org on the W3C home page (from start of sponsorship until the end of the event).
- Large-format logo displayed in the registration area;
- Inclusion of one item (e.g., "goodie" with Member logo, marketing pamphlet, or CD) into the participant folder;
- Table space in registration area for distribution of one item (e.g., marketing item or press release);
- Space for a demo during a Plenary Day break (near reception area);
- All the Silver Benefits.
Silver Sponsor Benefits (1000 USD / 650 €)
- Logo and link on www.w3.org on the event pages (from start of sponsorship until the end of the event);
- Name announced from the podium during the Technical Plenary meeting;
- Acknowledgment with logo on an insert in the participant folder.
Note: Sponsor may choose name instead of logo wherever logo is mentioned.
