Blessing Ceremonies

Wedding blessings are religious ceremonies which are not legally binding and involve no official paperwork.

This option is favored by many couples for various reasons.

Couples who are unable to have a religious ceremony, but wish to add a touch of religion into their marriage, choose to have a civil ceremony to make their marriage legal, then have a wedding blessing to follow.

Blessings can also take place without a prior civil ceremony; this would however not make the marriage legal. This is ideal for couples who wish to show their commitment to each other in an informal manner and for those who wish to renew their wedding vows.

Couples who are planning a destination wedding in the UK sometimes opt to legally marry in their home county, in a registry office (making the marriage legal) then have a wedding blessing in the UK. so there is no official paperwork to deal with.
